Активизировавшийся в последнее время английский лейбл Joof Recording, выпустил 6-ого апреля второй альбом с начала года (первым был дебютный альбом Steve Brich'a Aquarius, который мы также выкладывали в нашем блоге). Им стал первый альбом Riki Smith aka The Digital Blonde, получивший название Synthology. Надо отметить, что данный релиз не будет выходить на физических носителях, его можно будет скачать только через он-лайн магазины, именно поэтому длина альбома - непривычные 90 минут. Альбом получился очень интересным и по-настоящему трансовым, без всяких модных сейчас смешений транса, электро, брейкбита, хауса и т.д., и, что меня особенно порадовало, практически без вокала. Recommended. 
This is the second in our series of JOOF artist albums. Again we're not asking the artist to come up with any love songs, R&B or anything that’s out of character with their sound!! We want them to express themselves with music that can be played on the dance floor, after all this is what they are known and loved for.
This time we bring you The Digital Blonde 'Synthology'. A production career spanning nearly 20 years, Riki Smith aka The Digital Blonde has certainly proved his worth as one of the true pioneers of Trance. Having a plethora of singles and remixes under his belt he has gained a solid dedicated fan base that amazes us here at JOOF as we have to deal with the fan mail!!
The Digital Blonde phenomena started back in 1996 with the world renowned 'Antheum'. This was championed by Sasha, Digweed and Nick Warren and has become one of the Worlds true classic records of all time. Things didn't stop there, Riki kept rolling out hit after hit, Electra, Mooga and one of the biggest anthems at Gatecrasher 'Legato'.
Taking time out to take care of his new born daughter Sasha and to rebuild his studio (eventually put to rest his Atari ST!!!), Riki soon got to grips with his new Apple Mac and has churned out nine brand new tracks for this his debut album. He even took time to re make his classic Legato especially for this album!!
