Coming back at full steam after his recent The Lost World mix, George Acosta proves that he has learned from his mistakes as well as his successes. Case in point, All Rights Reserved features all of the elements that made The Lost World a success and none of the disappointments that made fans dislike Miami. Also none of the tracks are avant-garde or too tech-trancy that they turn off the listener with redundant, monotonous noise. From start to finish, Acosta blasts us with many fast paced trance tracks that feature little down time and are nearly 90% upbeat all the way through. Acosta even impresses by featuring a much better remix of his formerly disappointing remake of Blue Monday. Other tracks to keep your ears open for are the impressive beat laden Another Situation, the awesome fast paced By Your Side, and the epic Alive (which features some great digital vocal manipulations).The only qualms with this disk is that Acosta should have put the Bobina Drumma remix of Mellodrama on here instead of the Gareth Emerey remix, mainly due to the fact that the Bobina remix was by far more unique and expressive of the song. The Emery remix just seems to be a little on the generic side (even though in the long run, this is only a matter of personal taste and it truly does not hamper the mix). That being said, it is highly recommended to not only pick this up, but it's companion, the Mellodrama single.

From the warehouse parties of the late '80s to car commercials in 2001, the hardcore dancefloor energy and hypnotic techno beats of trance music have become a major musical part of the millennium. This is largely due to innovative, world famous DJ/producers like the Miami based George Acosta, who proves every time he puts a needle on a record that "trance," whatever the label, has evolved beyond a passing fad into a true cultural lifestyle for millions. Blazing back after his Lost World mix, Acosta proves that he has learned from his mistakes as well as his successes. All Rights Reserved features all of the elements that made Lost World a success. More good news: none of the tracks on the double-disc collection (featuring artists like Airbase, Sean Tyas, Marco V, the Thrillseekers, plus six unreleased mixes of powerful, heavy thumping and symphonic Acosta created tracks) are avant-garde or too monotonous or techno-minded. Acosta's concern here seems to be getting in our faces with as many fast paced grooves as possible. With 24 cuts, it's like a nonstop party, but there are a handful of tracks that especially stand out: the beat heavy "Another Situation" (by DJ Precision & Terry Bones), the intense Solarscape cut "Alive," which features crazed vocal manipulations, and a piercing "Neon Eyes" by Riley & Durrant.
