Ubuntu (произносится как «убу́нту») — один из самых популярных дистрибутивов GNU/Linux. Ориентирован на простоту использования (всё должно «просто работать») и имеет чёткий график релизов (каждые шесть месяцев). Создан в духе Debian и основан на нём. Спонсирует создание Ubuntu Canonical Ltd., основанная бизнесменом из ЮАР Марком Шаттлвортом.
Каждый релиз Ubuntu поддерживается обновлениями безопасности в течение 18 месяцев. Ubuntu поставляется с самой свежей версией GNOME и с такой подборкой программного обеспечения для серверов и рабочих станций, которая позволяет создать удобное рабочее окружение c помощью всего лишь одного установочного CD. В комплекте с дистрибутивом поставляется также Live-CD и версии некоторых программ под Windows (Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Pidgin, OpenOffice.org и GIMP), чтобы пользователи перед установкой могли ознакомиться с системой. Диски Ubuntu не только бесплатны, но и могут быть бесплатно доставлены
Kubuntu Linux — разновидность дистрибутива Ubuntu, основанного на Debian GNU/Linux, с KDE в качестве используемой графической среды.

Desolate, sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop скажет, какие пакеты нужны и каких не хватает. Пользователем с анлимом и ubuntu могу быть я. Давайте список - скачаю, выложу

Из менеджера пакетов synaptic создать из основного меню "сценарий закачаки пакетов"? И по сценарию выгрузить.

проблема: после загрузки системы бело-черные полосы
(причем сама система работает) командка работает нормально..
проблема в оболочке
сначала установил дрова на ati, потом установил эмуль wine.
после включения его система повисла.
я перезагрузил но все равно полосы остались.
как можно реанимировать?
походу xserv заглючил.

Лесник, отключи композит для начала или в xorg.conf поменяй драйвер fglrx на vesa. Если полосы остались - смотри конденсаторы на видеокарте.

Или что-то в этом духе.
Возможно как постаринке хватит:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xorg |
Или какой там пакет надо переконфигурировать..? Уже забыл...
В общем запросы: xorg reconfigure ubuntu? Where is my xorg.conf и тому подобные.

итак я переконфигурировал данный конфиг.... и вместо пустоты там появилась абра-кодабра.
аж 15 моников и драйвера странные  )) 
клянусь что ставил тока дрова для ATi 
что за хрень. выручайте=)

что такое BusID "PCI:5:0:0"?
и откуда взялись дрова для НВ?

Лучше верни все назад из xorg.conf.orig [backup или еще какой, должен быть]
и читаем https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/ATI с "Install from ati.com (latest version of drivers)"

Это физическое расположение железки на PCI шине. Фактически - номер слота.
Все pci устройства можно посмотреть командой lspci

Полагаю, от переконфигурирования иксов, возможно, у тебя экзотическая карта и мастер так и не понял, nvidia это или ati

Вопрос такой, получилось ли / пробовали ли запустить BiPrint ? у этерофта вроде написано что еще не работает, но вроде как они над этим работают или я что-то пропустил когда искал? Купить вайн етерсофт не проблема и запустить 1с-ку но необходимо еще и бипринт платежки печатать.
